SPECIFIC MEASURES REQUIRED TO MINIMISE THIS RISK

Protective equipment - Gloves / Goggles or safety glasses / Safety Shoes

Method Statement

1.       The First thing we need to do is  put on our correct PPE which will be

Steel Toe Cap boots

Protective Gloves

2.       We will then start to take down the old gutter, we will do this by un screwing the brackets and carefully taking the gutter down.

3.       Once that is done the new brackets will be ready to put on, we will re mark the guttering from the end of the wall, we will find the highest point of the wall that we can start with the new gutter and start putting in the first bracket. Once we know how many meters the guttering will be we will drop the guttering by 2mm every meter so the water is able to run freely without getting blocked.

4.       Now the brackets are on we will start to fix the joints to the gutter and put them to the brackets, once we know its secure, tested that there is no leaks and running properly we will clean up and the job will be finished.
